Canada knowingly finances killing of Israelis through UNRWA

In December 2004, Canada announced its usual $10 million annual donation to UNRWA. About that time, the head of UNRWA admitted to having Hamas terrorists on his payroll and a video was released showing Palestinian terrorists using a UN ambulance to escape following an attack, possibly paid for using our tax dollars.

When the reality of UNRWA was pointed out to Paul Martin, the Liberals actually paused while they reviewed the massive new body of evidence against UNRWA, and then decided that all was well and UNRWA should continue to get unaccountable Canadian tax dollars. Muslim leaders praised Paul Martin, and the Jewish mainstream (not B'nai Brith) went along quietly.

It is instructive to see the death and suffering that Canadians have paid for in the latest report from Center for Near East Policy*, POB 1783,Brookline, Mass. 02446.
