Excellent speech!

It's clear that the Martin government needs to be pushed, prodded and reminded over and over again to support democratic allies in India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Israel, and the United States.

For too long Canada has overlooked human rights abuses in China, Iran, Zimbabwe and Myanmar.

We need to keep pressure on the Canadian government to stand up for rights and not kowtow to dictatorships.
