Catherine MacDonald of Global Television interviewed Tarek Fatah and Al Gordon who expressed their opposition to allowing radical British Shaikh Riyadh ul-Haq to enter the country for the purpose of "educating" Muslin youth.
Catherine MacDonald also interviewed Shaikh Husain Patel of the Islamic Foundation of Toronto, the imam of the Scarborough Mosque that invited ul-Haq to "educate" impressionable Muslim youth. Patel said, "I'm not denying that he said those things" but claimed that his hateful words were taken out of context.
I am not sure how the following words by ul-Haq could be anything but supremacist exhortations to martyrdom and genocide, regardless of context:
"Among the believers there are those who have proved their word and agreement with Allah and thus they have expired their lives, meaning they are martyred in the way of Allah. And the rest of the believers, they are waiting for martyrdom. They are waiting for shahada [martyrdom] . We should follow in the footsteps of the shahada."
"The only Muslims who are considered moderates are those who for example, forgive me for polluting the masjid's [mosque's] atmosphere by saying this, but those Muslims who openly advocate lesbianism, those who are publicly declared homosexuals, Muslims who don't believe in segregation - the hijab - who feel no shame bowing down and kissing the Pope's hand, [who say] that Israel should be recognized as a Jewish state"
The government of Canada owes nothing to this man. But they have a duty to protct Canadians from the carnage that radical Muslim preachers leave in their wake when they turn young Muslims into weapons of mass slaughter.
