Actually, it was Liberal Prime Minister Mackenzie King's Immigration Director, Frederick Charles Blair, during World War II, who denied Jews fleeing the Holocaust the right to land in Canada.

It is instructive to note that Liberals aided and abetted Jew-killers in 1938, driven in part by rabid anti-Semitism in Quebec. So what has changed?
