When the lies of the state media are this egregious and the perversion of democracy this blatant, we are almost rendered ineffectual by our own disbelief. We keep saying, "It can't be!" but it IS!
It was the OPPOSITION and ONLY the opposition who voted to block testimony by the Lebanese representatives, CIDA, Red Cross and CCD. And McDonough was absolutely clear when she accused the witnesses of representing only one narrow perspective. I guess she was right, in that none of the witnesses would be speaking on behalf of the terrorists.
If the CBC presented it any differently, they are, plainly and simply, liars.
