If you really understood my post, it's Bruce who should be ashamed of himself. Being proud to be a Jew while supporting a country that brutalizes an entire society of people while demonizing those people at the same time is eertainly nothing to be proud of.
Thankfully, there are some good and decent Jews of conscience who do make the difference, however, you responded exactly as I mentioned ....that no can make any criticisms and condemnations of Israel without being called a self-hating Jew or that it was anti-semitic. What I posted was absolute fact on what Israel does and not propaganda. Instead of suggesting Daniel Pearl books, read up on some credible sources on what Israel does in fact and how it functions as a racist society, and how it also brutalizes the Palestinians.
If in fact you are not really knowledgeable about Israel, then it's not your fault..if you are and make excuses, then you've revealed your complete indifference which is nothing to be proud of.
