In response to C.Hughes. Yes I have read the Quran carefully, methodically and analtically. I have been reading it for about 20 years. I try to read it every day. I have a degree in Econmics, an Honours degree in Admin Studies, a three year diploma in Computer studies. I also went to Catholic Schools for 10 years. There is no better book through which to learn discipline and the urge to do good.

Religion is meant to improve yourself. To learn how to serve God. Not to show yourself as superior. All religous zealots, regardless of their faith or sect have this common weakness - a superiority complex. Wake up and smell the coffee. Learn about cause and effect. Talk to professors at U of T who teach Islam. Stop being a war monger.

I can tell you the Quran is a book of peace, enlightenment, and discipline. Yes Islam is about Submission - to God, the creator, and sustainer of the universe and the master of the day of Judgement. Is there anyone better to submit to.

Atrocities are committed every day in the name of Islam. No doubt. But if I was to deliberately misinterpret something in your posting and do something violent against an Iranian and blame you for it - would you accept responsibility? If not, then why is Islam to be blamed for the heinous acts of people acting out their personal greed, vendettas and power politics.

The world is aflame because of the neo-cons and their support for the world's tyrants: Saddam Hussein, Shah of Iran, the Saudi Government and its support of violent radical Islam. All clients of the US government. This Pandora's box has caused todays problems.

My admiration goes out to the British government that resisted George Bush and John Bolton and resolved this issue in a peaceful way.
