Israel the West Bank and Gaza - a parable

Suppose that you bought two houses, side by side, and rented house #1 back to the former owner, a Mr. Smith. Now suppose that Mr. Smith and his family decided that they should not have sold and wanted to own their rented house and in fact wanted both houses back. - as a donation. To accomplish their purpose, they threw rocks at you. What would you do?
To make peace, you could give them ownership of the rented house or you could give them the rented house plus the garage of your house. That might stop the ill-will and the rocks. Or you could evict them from the property. Those are the three options. These are the choices that Israel faced with Gaza and now faces with the West Bank. Israel gave ownership of Gaza back to the Palestinians and yet the rocks did not stop. It is now considering giving back more of its property in the hopes of buying good-will but there is no indication that it will.
Israel as the controller of the West Bank and you, as the owner of property, are in the same position. What would you do?
