In the early days of the Zionist return...that is late 1800's onward, Jews settled on lands BOUGHT from Arabs.

I'll repeat that for you.

Arabs sold Jews tracts of land to settle on.

And much of it was barren, or swampy to boot. So the land wasn't 'taken by force' from poor Arab citizens.

Jews have an archeological presence as well as a documented history there that goes back a minimum of 3,000 years.
