But he understates the importance of the Islamist war being waged against liberal, secular democratic countries and values. Canadians at last are seeing that radical Islamists wage war not only against fellow Muslims, but also against liberal democracies. Jihadis menace the streets of London, Glasgow, Madrid, Paris and New York -- and Toronto, Montreal and other Canadian centres as well. Meanwhile, infidels are exterminated in Algeria, India, Indonesia, Israel, the Philippines, Somalia, Sudan and Thailand. While much has been said about Islamists using terror, little has been offered about political Islam's power-projection by immigration, demographic shift and stealth. Today, Islamists in Canada shamelessly demand hard-line, shariah-based practices, including Muslim-only swimming in tax-funded pools, Muslim-only gender-apartheid facilities at public universities, even Muslim-specific hiring in government.
