To suggest that Islamists act in order to destroy trust between good Muslims and non-Muslims is surely being one of Lenins useful idiots. Salim suggests that the majority of Canadian Muslims do not agree that a Muslim state would be good for Canada. There is no evidence for his position. On the contrary, most Canadian Muslims' silence on terrorism and support of leaders like Zafar Bangash indicate that a Muslim religious dictatorship would be welcomed by the majority. The Koran is clear in its position that Islam should dominate in both religious and political spheres. We must acknowlege this as esssential to all Islam and most Muslims, and then fight it, not assign this view to only a few crazy Islamists.
