I have to believe that the Jewish community would pay less in directly funding JET than in the extra tax burden of funding everybody and an army of civil servants... we wouldn't be funding terror and antisemitism either. We need to tell John Tory to back off this ridiculous idea no matter what he is hearing from so-called community leaders. I hate to say it but JET also gives donors a chance to get their names on books, classrooms, buildings, pools... no one ever recognizes a taxpayer. That should turn on some of the biggies.
