All I am saying is that IF there is going to be separation of church and state with regards to schools than let it be all encompassing, ie the Christian rituals have to go too. Otherwise, our public schools are not really that public and free from religious influence are they? Let's not be hypocritical. As I have stated above many times, the situation that we have in B.C. is the one that I like and the one that I think is quite fair and reasonable; fully funded "public schools" and partially funded religious schools. That's all. I realize that this is not so easy in Ontraio with what was promised to Catholics ages ago. I am just glad that I no longer live there.
