Well said, Tasha. If I have heard this argument once, I have heard it a thousand times. It is indeed a fact that most Muslims do not speak Arabic, therefor using Joanna's logic, cannot understand true Islam. Also, unless you have studied Islam and the life of the prophet for many years, you are not capable of understanding Islam, which puts converts at a distinct disadvantage; how could they possibly know what they are converting to? Unless of course Islam requires years of study before it accepts new converts. No? I thought not.
If I have learned anything about Islam, it is that it's adherents never let intelligence, reason and rational thought or the truth get in the way of defending Islam. This is not just a faith, it's a suspension of reality.
