Religious covering is not just for muslims but for all religions. Jews cover their heads man and women, orthodox christians cover their hair, hindu nuns, and all clergy and monastics cover the whole of their body. Its called modesty. Forsaking the life of this world for the spiritual. If that makes such people of all religions, those who care not for worldly things but for spiritual delights superior then yes they are.
