I would like to add information for your article "CCD applauds PM, raises concerns about gov't enforcement of sharia practices". In Quebec, the Director General of Quebec Election have ban the veil for voting in provincial election. All the provincial parti leader : Mario Dumont, Jean Charest and Pauline Marrois, have express their view against this and have ask the Canada DGE to review his stand on the veil. And of course, the Quebec people in general (including the majority of minorities) are expressing their opposition to face veil during the vote.

How does English Canada media react to this? I was told they are using it to portrayed Quebec as a racist and bigot province, an old habit. I wished we could avoid the old Quebec-Canada fight on this issue. For once mainstream English-Canadian journalists or editorialists should not use this issue to enforce an image they like to portray of Quebec but rather to stand on our side in our fight of extremist and islamist mysogynists.

I hope you will address this issue.
