Shelley, I will take your word that the legislation provides that in order to vote, the voter must provide one of 3 modes of identification, but the act says nothing about having to appear without bare faced.

That almost certainly is because the lawmakers took it as a given that the voter would appear at the voting stations without disguise, religious or otherwise.

That omission in this regard is not to be taken as permissive that any Tom, Dick and Harriet can show up at the next polling booth with a mask.

Legislating the obvious is suddenly necessary when Elections Canada makes policy or passes law that ignores the obvious to the detriment of Canada.
