Meir I am sorry to say it, but you are dead wrong on this one. How does a nice Jewish boy like you tell Salim Mansur, a Muslim scholar, that he is wrong about what will be taught in Muslim schools? What do you know that he doesn't? Given a choice, I will listen to Dr. Mansur.
The B.C. government has given millions to fund Sikh schools, and what do we have in those schools? The murderer behind the Air India bombing is portrayed as a hero and martyr throughout the school. The students wear jackets with the Khalistani symbol and crossed Kalashnikov rifles. Even right here in Ontario, a Catholic school fully funded by the taxpayer has been teaching exorcism for years. Is anything being done? Hell no, we let these thugs hide behind freedom of religion and the selling of ethnic votes.
If hatred is being taught at any school, what difference does it make if the school is paid for by the taxpayer, the community or by Saudi Arabia? Hatred is hatred and it makes no difference who writes the checks.
On this issue, many in the Jewish community are blind to their own interests and the interests of National Security and to my interests. If you have any capacity to change your mind this would be the issue for you to do it on.
