To quote Natan Sharansky: Democracy is More Than Elections. Before elections have meaning in Pakistan, they will have to have security from terrorism.

It is interesting how the political problems in Pakistan have dominated the news, whereas the similar problems (actually changing the constitution - criminal acts - killings) in Venezuela have been ignored by the media.

So .... are nuclear weapons more important that oil?

Or is something else driving the media to concentrate on Pakistan?
