So, I would assume by your comments that you are actively involved in speaking out against the injustice of the Islamic states in the region? And meanwhile, while there is no movement away from Islamic government and law in any of the Islamic states, why should Israel declaim it's dominant Jewish character? You and I both know that this would only weaken the state further. It might make us idealists happy, but for all practical purposes it would make Israel more vulnerable. If, by some miracle, the Islamic revival were to lose steam and the freedom associated with democracy could replace it, then and only then should Israel consider revising it's character.
