Bill, why do you find the idea of balanced reporting where the pro and con side both have a chance to speak so "silly"? I know, in today's media, we've gotten used to hearing only one side of a story - particularly on CanWest Global - but this is at variance with any tradition of fairminded journalism.

If Al's position is so unassailable why not give equal time to someone who has the opposite view? What are you afraid of?
