Now let's say you are genuine in wanting to find a solution to Palestinian suffering. Clearly billions in foreign aid are not the solution, as the Palestinians are more dependent and violent than they have ever been. So we must agree that another solution needs to be found.
If you are disturbed about the deaths of 120 Palestinians in Gaza as you claim, then why would you not propose the one simple step that will guarantee the end of all attacks on Gaza? It's really simple: STOP ATTACKING ISRAEL! Not killing one's neighbors is a restraint that most people can live with.
Now as to their economic condition, if that keeps you up at night, you would demand of the PA that Palestinians be given an education that creates the skills needed to build a real economy, rather than a dysfunctional hate-filled society shamelessly dependent on Western handouts. Are you recommending that?
So if you really care about Palestinian suffering, you would not propose more of the same medicine that is making them sicker and sicker. You would demand that the PA teach useful skills as opposed to hatred and victimization, you would be advocating the one simple step required to end their suffering in Gaza, and you would demand that foreign aid be tied to such reasonable advances.
And until I hear those demands, I can only conclude that the Palestinians are nothing more than useful fodder for attacking Israel and that their suffering is something you are completely indifferent to.
