Gerard, you have lost your brain somewhere along the way. Here is my correction of your confusion:

On Israel's Right to Defend Itself

This obvious hypocrisy cannot be supported by any reasonable argument. One cannot "defend itself" against local forces of liberation in territories that one illegally invades and occupies. This is not a "defence", this is aggression.

One cannot "defend itself" using state-sponsored terrorism, political assassinations, illegal weapons, targetting civilians and civilian infrastructure, kidnapping and holding prisoners without a due judicial process, denying local population the right to return or compensation, applying collective punishment for democtaric choices, and conducting an obvious ethnic cleansing policy that constitutes genocide.

Israel's policies and the attitudes of many Jewish settlers demonstrate lack of respect for the most important accompishments of the civilized world. Inflicting war crimes, crimes against peace, and crimes against humanity on its neighbours reflects poorly on Israel's right to exist.

Comments like yours reflect poorly on those who "believe" all the lies created around this issue, for example that Palestinians are guilty of their own misery. What a B.S.!
