The esteemed Senator Romeo Dallaire -- ex-soldier-bureaucrat considered hero for watching the Rwandan genocide from the sidelines -- now considers Canada's effort in Afghanistan equivalent to al-Qaeda's mass murder of innocent civilians.
Already Senator Dallaire has received support from our CBC News. Conservative MP Jason Kenney criticized Dallaire -- but a report by pro-Liberal CBC reporter Paul Hunter was more favourable to Dallaire than to Kenney. (See last night's CBC National).
