Rob Breakenridge of CHQR Calgary interviews Al Gordon, president of the Canadian Coalition for Democracies, and Sohail Raza, communications director for the Muslim Canadian Congress, on the invitation of extremist Sheikh Qazi Hussain Ahmad to speak at the 34th Annual Convention of the Islamic Society of North America on the topic:

Muslim Youth born in Canada: Strengthening the bonds with the Muslim world

Sheikh Qazi Hussain Ahmad has been banned from entry into most European countries as well as Egypt, and has been under house arrest in Pakistan for instigating riots in which people were killed. Canadians deserve to hear answers as to why so-called "moderate" Muslim groups chose such an extremist speaker to address Canadian Muslim youth, especially considering their 2006 pledge to combat extremism.

Canadians also need to understand why such a speaker would have the support of major Muslim organizations in Canada, all of whom claim to be the voice of moderate Muslims, including the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CAN), the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA Canada), the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), and Human Concern International (HCI).
