If UNRWA is policing the behavior of its Hamas employees, then UNRWA needs to explain how so much UNRWA manpower and materiel is being used for terror against Israelis.
Until convincing accountability can be provided to show that no Canadian dollars are contributing to the death of Israelis, then our tax dollars should be withheld. Right now, they are being turned over to UNRWA with minimal requirement for accountability.
Hamas is an illegal organization here in Canada. If I were to write a cheque for $10,000,000 to a foreign agency, and ample evidence existed showing that I knew a portion of that agency's funding went to Hamas, I would go to jail.
How does Pierre Pettigrew, our minister of foreign affairs, escape the same punishment for funding an outlawed terrorist organization?
