It's interesting that you make reference to "facts" when your arguments show a startling lack of anything vaguely resembling facts.
Israel does not merely invade Palestinian cities as if that was somehow how they got their fun. Any incursion is done to weed out terrorists - i.e. those who blow up buses (who at least you were generous enough to concede were terrorists), those who fire rockets at kindergarten children etc. Therefore, the Palestinians who are taking up arms in an effort to thwart the IDF's legitimate purposes are rightly referred to as "armed thugs".
By your reasoning, any time the police were to enter a specific neighbourhood looking for a criminal, would the residents of that neighbourhood would be justified in taking up arms to attack these "legitimate targets" who were "invading" their neighbourhood?!
Follow your own advicce - "try not to put spin on the facts."
