Sorry to break that long list of "oh yeah Steyn I love you!". This guy wrotes so well? He uses the common anti-europeanism (that is not at all like anti-americanism, anti-americanism being bad!) to prove his points.
Nationalism, xenophobia is great writing? No, it's populism, and the ultra-nationalist posters above me felt into the trap, no surprise here. You guys would buy a program to suppress entire nations off the face of the globe, if there were no risks for your everyday life.
OK, so Bolton is a great choice? Bolton wants to DESTROY the UN. Many of you agree with him here. Why do you agree? Because the UN do its missions poorly. May I remind you that noone else do these missions? Without the UN, those missions would not be poorly done. They would never have started. So much better, right? So, the solution would be to reform it. The solution that Bolton has is: the most power, the most importance in the UN.
In other terms, back to the law of the jungle, you're strong, you eat the weak. That's called anarchy, but might be imperialism when the USA are supposed to take the only seat, and fascism is not far.
Bush having to apologize for Iraq? "About what?", the hypocrite asks? ABOUT THE WMDs, STUPID! How obvious was it? Is this being a great writer?
