It is the complete inability of the Palestinians and their allies to live in the real world that assures they will never contribute in any positive way to the advance of humanity. One needs to face reality to advance in science, technology, business, human rights and the thousand other ways in which the West is centuries ahead of the Muslim world. The laws of nature will not succumb to spin and mythology the way that political leaders and brainwahsed Palestinians do.
Until the Muslim world faces reality, stripped of their paranoid myths, they will never enjoy modernity or peace. Of course, what incentive do they have when Paul Martin hands over tens of millions of dollars to the PA because Abbas promises to disarm the terrorists, and then reneges a few weeks later saying he will NOT disarm the terrorists. Did Paul Martin then stop the flow of dollars? Of course not! We give them money to keep the Muslims back home voting Liberal, and the fact that the money is taken under false pretences is merely awkward, but certainly not a deal breaker.
